For our client Nobian, we are looking for a Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist, at their headquarters in Amersfoort, the Netherlands!

  • Location: HQ Amersfoort, the Netherlands / remote job
  • Duration: 6 months, with an option to extend
  • Hourly: 32 hours/week

Purpose/Key Objectives of the job

  • Responsible for the collective bargaining process
  • First point of contact for the Dutch works council
  • Support HR colleagues and the business when it comes to Compensation & Benefits and Union/Works council activities
  • Support global projects in the field of Compensation & Benefits


  • Support Director Rewards and CHRO in collective bargaining process. Calculating labour costs, providing a logical collective labour agreement text
  • Updating HR Portal (intranet with personnel schemes) based on the latest fiscal and labour law developments. Alignment with CAO provisions
  • Preparation of requests for advice from Works Council/COC, (written) answers to works council questions
  • Various (ad hoc) C&B activities
  • Support HR colleagues and the business when it comes to Compensation & Benefits and Union/Works council activities
  • Is part of various HR Projects in the field of Compensation & Benefits
  • Supports HRBPs with corporate projects

Required Skills, Expertise and Competences:

  • Bachelor degree or master's degree with a commercial (human resources) focus, or comparable college degree
  • At least 8 years of in-depth experience in the area of Compensation & Benefits
  • Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements in general and experience with CLA negotiation processes with unions
  • Experience with the preparation of works council advisory requests
  • Solid knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • Experienced in using SAP HCM as well as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Project experience / working in international teams
  • High service orientation, solution-oriented, independent way of working
  • Hands-on mentality
